Young Justice is a book that many descibe as the sidekick brigrade.Why? Well,the lineup includes;Robin,Batmans sidekick,Superboy,who is a younger version of Superman,Impulse,A young Flash-like speedster transported from the future,Wonder-Girl,a young Wonder Woman sidekick,Arrowette,a young archer,the Secret,a mistlike girl who can mold herself into any form,and Red Tornado,thier android mentor.
Young Justice has faced many problems,such as nearly being shut down by the Justice League America for fears of recklessness.
But perhaps thier greatest problem was the recent"sins of youth" storyline,in which Young Justice and all the other teen heros were turned into mature adult heros.While the older heros,such as the JLA were deaged into prescholers.
But don't let the title fool you.Young Justice can be a serious book,with issues such as school violence taking center stage in one issue.Arrowttes,regular cillivan identy had a problem.Her friend in school was gunned down.Arrowette doned her coustume in search of the gunman,nearly shooting an arrow through his heart,but Superboy at the last minute stopped her.Distraught over nearly taking a lfe,she quit the team.
But Yuong Justice does have many funny moments,thanks in part to Impulse.
